Segmenting and Targeting Generations

In order to reduce the percentage of Sleep Users that appear as the Active Users grow older, Nintendo created a range of software and games designed just for them. With a more intuitive, and less time consuming characteristics, these games are also meant to attract Non-Users of all ages. Several games have been developed for the Wii console such as Wii Fit, where the player may have a personal trainer at home, and Wii Music, a game that allows several players to form a band or play any instrument. But the most successful of these games that Nintendo has called "Touch Generations," have been produced for the DS portable console. With the use of a stylus, the DS offers the option to play games that adapt easier for different types of gamers. "Master of Illusion," "Personal Trainer," and "Flash Focus: Vision Training in Minutes a Day" are some of the most successful games among young women and older generations.
